Option2: Incorporate your inspection trip into a weekend break or holiday, and get cash back when you buy your dream home.

Inspection trips are heavily subsidised, and are available to clients who have already provided us with detailed information on the type of property that they require, the area in which they are considering purchasing, and an approximate budget to cover the purchase that they have in mind. As these trips are heavily subsidised you will appreciate that they are for clients who are committed, and feel ready to proceed with the purchase of a property. Our inspection trips are on a one to one basis, unlike many other companies who offer trips with groups of people, which does not allow you sufficient time to gather all the information and deal with all the queries that you may have.

Option 1

This inspection trip costs £49 per person, which will include being picked up from the airport, and taken to your 4 star hotel by a member of the Landmark team. The developer will already be aware of the type of property that you are looking for, and appointments will have been made after identifying the properties that fit your criteria. Our team member will collect you from your hotel and take you to the developer’s offices, to view the properties that have been pre-selected for you. Hopefully one of the properties that you have seen, or plans that you have inspected, will meet with your approval, and should you wish to proceed it is at this point that you will be asked to pay a reservation fee, which is standard practise in Spain. This amount is usually 3000€ (£2069 based on 1.45). During your visit our representative will ask you if you would like to see local places of interest, including beaches, restaurants, tourist attractions etc, they will also ask you if you would like to meet up with an independent legal advisor who can help with Spanish Law, Contracts, Property Searches etc. Whether you choose to take this trip or meet with an advisor will be completely at your discretion. Because our representatives are all people who have left the U.K to start a new life in Spain, we feel that they are in a very good position to give you a totally unbiased overview of Spanish life. To underline our commitment to a NO PRESSURE policy, none of our support staff are sales people.

At the end of your trip our representative will collect you from the hotel and take you to the airport ready for your return flight to the UK. Once safely back in the U.K your dedicated sales executive will contact you, hopefully with a view to discussing the next step in the process of acquiring your property in Spain. If you have paid a reservation fee you will almost certainly have to be in a position to pay the balance of the deposit within 30 days, with many of our properties this can be as little as 20% of the total purchase price. If you make a purchase your subsidised costs of £49 will be refunded, making your Inspection Trip - FREE!

Option 2

This is designed for people who wish to look at properties on a more independent basis, and possibly incorporate a holiday at the same time. On these occasions we will be happy to make all the arrangements regarding your flights, should you wish us to do so. We will also help you with your hotel reservations, unless you wish to make your own specific arrangements.

We will liaise with you to confirm convenient times, to collect you from your hotel and take you to the developer’s offices where you can inspect the property at your leisure and in a time scale that is suitable to you, so as not to disrupt you visit to Spain. If you wish, we will help you make arrangements for car hire so that you can explore the area independently, alternatively our representatives will again be quite happy to collect you from your hotel and give you a tour of the area and visit selected places of interest. As with option 1 they will be happy to collect you from the hotel and take you to the airport for your return trip to the UK.

With option 2 you would be responsible for all payments in respect of your flights, accommodation etc whilst in Spain. Should you however go ahead with the purchase of a property arranged by Landmark International, following confirmation, we will reimburse the sum of £600 against your overall holiday expenses. This will mean that within the framework of your holiday, you will have the equivalent of a completely FREE, tailor made inspection trip.

It is important to remember that buying a property in Spain will probably be the second biggest purchase of your life, other than your original property in the U.K. It is even more important to make sure, that you use the right people to service your needs throughout the dream building process. Landmark International’s dedication and support does not finish when we give you the keys to your property, our commitment is ongoing.
